Q. Can I get Gold cover [i.e. 4 hour response to site] for my hard-wired schemes?
A. Tunstall do not offer blanket cover, as fo the PNC Gold schedule. It would be impossible to manage in terms of scheduling the engineers' workoad and would prove prohibitively expensive.
However, where individual circumstance demand urgent attendance on site, an Emergency Call Out (ECO) can be requested. This will incur a charge of £197.50 + VAT and will normally require the provision of an order number.

Q. What is the emergency call-out charge and the hourly rate for fire alarm cover?
A. During normal working hours the call out charge is £172.91 (including travel and the first hour on site) then £52.87 per hour thereafter - both figures are plus VAT. An order number will be required.
Out of normal working hours an ECO must be formally requested, with an order number - the rates are then £255.59 and £91.37 - both plus VAT. If the ECO is not formally requested at the time of order then the call-out will not be attended until normal working hours.
